Magnetica is the brand new collaborative album from producer Soulpersona and acclaimed trumpet and flugelhorn player Bryan Corbett. Inspired by the rich textures and cinematic grooves of 1970s KPM library music, Magnetica is a soulful jazz-funk journey that blends vintage tones with modern sensibility.

Rooted in the golden era of analogue warmth and effortless cool, the album is a tip of the hat to the work of artists like Freddie Hubbard, Donald Byrd and Alan Hawkshaw, drawing on pocket rhythm sections, lush horn arrangements, and atmospheric keys and synths. Each track evokes a different mood—sometimes mysterious, sometimes uplifting, always magnetic.

Whether you're a fan of classic jazz-funk, rare groove, or instrumental soul, Magnetica offers a timeless listening experience crafted with care, precision, and deep musical chemistry.

This project marks a new chapter in the Soulpersona legacy and celebrates Bryan Corbett’s expressive virtuosity. Together, they’ve created a soundtrack for the imagination.
