Bryan Corbett & Chris Dodd - ‘GREEN Quartet’

Trumpeter Bryan Corbett and multi-instrumentalist Chris Dodd met when they were both members of jazz-hiphop outfit, Us3. Their self-produced recording, ‘Green’, features them as the sole performers on a varied programme of modern jazz ranging from ballads and straightahead jazz originals to funk with electronic touches.

The breadth of experience of the two musicians has led to the classic sound of this unique album, with its strong, communicative performances and memorable melodies. Bryan is an award winning trumpeter/flugelhornist who has toured and performed around the globe.  He has performed alongside some of the biggest stars of the UK jazz scene and appeared with his own quartet at festivals and clubs all over the U.K. He is a current member of Us3 and a regular special guest with Krakow’s famous jazz-funk outfit ‘Funk de Nite’.  He also performs with the likes of Ben E. King, Tony Christie to name just a few.

Multi-instrumentalist Chris Dodd has worked extensively on the UK and European jazz circuits mainly as a bass player and has recorded and performed all over the globe in a variety of musical genres with many acclaimed musicians and groups including Jamiroquai, Bheki Mseleku, Us3, Jazztronik, Julian Joseph, Tony Levin and Paul Dunmall, Lyndon Davyd Hall, Steve Williamson, John Dankworth, Benet Mclean, Dick Pearce, Don Braden, Nathan Haines and many others. Chris' writing and producing has had success in the UK, Europe and the USA charts with various artist including Will Young, Jamie Scott, Mamas Gunn, Lucie Silvas, Tamyra Gray and Michael Kiwanuka.

Bryan & Chris will be performing live with a Quartet featuring Mark Fletcher on Drums and Sean Hargreaves on Piano.

Mark Fletcher has been a regular musician at Ronnie Scott's since the 1980's

Working with Ronnie's band as well as other Jazz greats including:-

Dizzy Gillespie, Mark Murphy, James Moody, Michel LeGrand,

Norma Winstone, Liane Carroll and many more.

Fletch has a regular slot at Ronnie Scott's with his own Quartet.

Sean Hargreaves on Piano  - Among many other musicians with whom he has played are Guy Barker, Peter King, Mornington Lockett, Jim Mullen, Gerard Presencer, Jean Toussaint, John Etheridge ,Michael Bublé, Alison Moyet, Natalie Imbruglia and Harry Beckett.
